The reporter recently learned from the China Africa Economic and Trade Expo that the third session will be held in Changsha, Hunan from June 29th to July 2nd. The theme of this expo is "seeking common development and sharing the future", with 8 African countries including Benin, Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Zambia serving as guest of honor, and Shandong and Hubei provinces serving as theme provinces.

Li Fei, Vice Minister of Commerce, said that the China Africa International Trade and Economic Expo is an important mechanism for China Africa economic and trade cooperation and an important window for local economic and trade cooperation with Africa. It is of great significance for China to promote high-level opening up and build a Dual circulation. It is reported that the exhibition area of the main exhibition hall of this year's China Africa Economic and Trade Expo will reach 100000 square meters, an increase of nearly 30000 square meters compared to the previous one, with a larger number of exhibits and richer display content. It is the first time to set up the "the Belt and Road" achievement exhibition of high-quality joint construction of international trade between China and Africa and the achievement exhibition of innovation and entrepreneurship of Chinese and African women.

In addition to showcasing more beautiful products, compared to the previous two sessions, this year's China Africa Economic and Trade Expo also presents many new highlights: during the event, the opening ceremony and China Africa International Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum will be held, 9 high-end activities hosted by national ministries and institutions, 7 economic and trade docking, 3 special seminars, and 13 local special events, covering green infrastructure, customs quarantine, medicine and health, agricultural products, light industry and textile, industrial parks, women and youth Vocational education and other fields.

There are over 1350 exhibitors at this exhibition, an increase of 55% compared to the previous one. It is expected that there will be 8000 buyers and professional visitors attending the exhibition, and the number of visitors will exceed 100000. The main exhibition hall, Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, will be open to the public free of charge from July 1 to 2, and the sub exhibition hall, China Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation and Innovation Promotion Demonstration Park, will hold various and wonderful activities such as the Africa Good Things Online Shopping Festival, the live broadcast with goods, the African Barista Champion Challenge, and the Africa Good Things Promotion Conference.

The 8 African guest of honor countries will set up independent exhibitions to showcase their own characteristics and styles. African brand products such as essential oils from Madagascar, gemstones from Zambia, coffee from Ethiopia, wood carvings from Zimbabwe, flowers from Kenya, wine from South Africa, and cosmetics from Senegal will make exciting appearances. The sub exhibition hall is located in the China Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Innovation Demonstration Park, mainly relying on the permanent exhibition hall of the Expo to create a "never ending" China Africa Economic and Trade Expo.

During the exhibition period, a batch of new cooperation projects, agreements, and achievements will be released to showcase the new achievements of China Africa international trade cooperation. At present, the conference has collected 156 cooperation projects to be signed and coordinated, with a total amount exceeding 10 billion US dollars.
