The agency of the Russian Customs General Administration, Dmitry Davidoff, said that the export of Chinese cars to Russia from January to May tripled year on year, and the export of construction machinery nearly tripled. In addition, China, India, Türkiye and Azerbaijan have replaced the EU in Russia's foreign trade structure.

Previously, according to statistical data released by the General Administration of Customs of China on June 7th, the trade volume between China and Russia increased by 40.7% year-on-year from January to May this year, reaching 93.806 billion US dollars. According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's exports to Russia reached 42.947 billion US dollars, an increase of 75.6%; China imported $50.859 billion from Russia, an increase of 20.4%.
