On June 28, the China Vietnam Forum on international trade and economic cooperation was held in Beijing. Business representatives from the infrastructure, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, finance and other fields of China and Vietnam gathered together to conduct in-depth exchanges on topics such as bilateral trade and investment, and discuss the cooperation plan between the Chinese and Vietnamese business communities in the new era. Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Myung Jung attended the forum and delivered a speech. He said that Vietnam and China are linked by mountains and rivers and are close international trade and economic cooperation partners. Vietnam will continue to actively participate in the joint construction of the "belt and road", deepen cooperation in various fields, and promote the continuous development of Vietnam China relations.
Renhongbin, President of the China Council for the promotion of international trade, said in his speech at the forum that in recent years, under the joint planning and strategic guidance of the leaders of China and Vietnam, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam has flourished, the international trade and economic relations between the two countries have been deepened, and the level of bilateral trade, production capacity cooperation and infrastructure connectivity has been continuously improved, bringing tangible benefits to the people of the two countries.
Nguyen Chi dung, Minister of planning and investment of Vietnam, said that Vietnam and China are highly complementary in economy and trade, and further expanding trade and investment cooperation will achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. In the future, the business community should work together to promote China Vietnam Economic and trade cooperation to a new level.
In the next step, China Council for the promotion of international trade will give full play to the functions of connecting government and enterprises, integrating inside and outside, and unblocking supply and demand, organize a dense service enterprise network, expand the international circle of friends, and take the full implementation of RCEP as an opportunity to promote the construction of version 3.0 of the China ASEAN Free Trade Area, so as to build more platforms and provide more opportunities for the expansion of economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and Vietnamese business communities.
It is reported that in September this year, the China Council for the promotion of international trade will hold the 20th China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Nanning, Guangxi, during which a round table dialogue between Vietnamese leaders and CEOs of Chinese enterprises will be held to help accelerate the implementation, quality improvement and upgrading of key projects of China Vietnam International Trade and economic cooperation.
