According to customs statistics, in the first seven months of this year, my country's total import and export value of goods trade was 21.34 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.5% and a year-on-year increase of 22.3%. Among them, exports were 11.66 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.5% and 23% year-on-year; imports were 9.68 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.4%, and a year-on-year increase of 21.4%; a trade surplus was 1.98 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.8 %.

In July, my country's total import and export value was 3.27 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.5%. Among them, exports were 1.82 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%; imports were 1.45 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.1%.

General trade imports and exports increased and the proportion increased. In the first seven months, my country's general trade import and export was 13.21 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.6%, accounting for 61.9% of China's total foreign trade value, an increase of 1.5 percentage points over the same period last year.

Imports and exports to major trading partners such as ASEAN, the European Union and the United States have all increased. In the first seven months, ASEAN was China's largest trading partner. The total trade value between China and ASEAN was 3.12 trillion yuan, an increase of 24.6%. The EU is China's second largest trading partner, with a total trade value of 2.96 trillion yuan with the EU, an increase of 23.4%. During the same period, imports and exports to countries along the “Belt and Road” totaled 6.3 trillion yuan, an increase of 25.5%.

The import and export growth rate of private enterprises is the fastest, and the proportion is increasing. In the first seven months, the import and export of private enterprises was 10.23 trillion yuan, an increase of 31%, accounting for 47.9% of our total foreign trade value, an increase of 2.4 percentage points over the same period last year.

The export of mechanical and electrical products maintained growth. In the first seven months, my country exported 6.88 trillion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 25.5%, accounting for 59% of the total export value. Among them, automobiles (including chassis) were 114.08 billion yuan, an increase of 102.5%.
