According to news on September 14, Ren Hongbin, the Vice Minister of Commerce, said that looking forward to the whole year's foreign trade, we are confident that we can accomplish the goal of "steady quantity and quality improvement" through our efforts. At the same time, we must remain sober and stable, not blindly optimistic.

In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will adhere to the two-handed approach of “stabilizing growth” and “promoting innovation”, make good policy reserves, enhance the ability of foreign trade to resist risks, and maintain the stable operation of foreign trade across cycles.

The first is to launch targeted policy support measures at an appropriate time to increase assistance to small, medium and micro foreign trade enterprises.

The second is to actively participate in high-standard multilateral regional trade arrangements and support the multilateral trading system.

The third is to build the “Belt and Road” with high quality.

The fourth is to actively support the development of new forms and models of foreign trade such as cross-border e-commerce, overseas warehouses, market procurement, and offshore trade.

Fifth, we will successfully hold important exhibitions such as the 130th Canton Fair.
