Free trade zone boosts the development of sea-rail combined transport

They are directly loaded at Ningbo Zhoushan Port and exported to Europe, Africa and other regions across the ocean.

Shipping giant's tentacles stretch to Yiwu

According to incomplete statistics, currently 7 shipping companies have set up branches in Yiwu, 20 shipping companies have carried out container return business in Yiwu, 6 shipping companies have carried out booking business in Yiwu; 5 shipping companies have started to issue bills of lading in Yiwu Business, four shipping companies are carrying out multimodal transport business in Yiwu. Among them, there are many shipping giants such as COSCO, CMA CGM, Maersk and Mediterranean.

At present, Yiwu is strengthening strategic cooperation and in-depth integration with Ningbo and Zhoushan, making every effort to promote the construction of major infrastructure such as the Jinyongzhou Railway, and developing multimodal transportation such as rail-sea combined transport and road-rail combined transport. Among them, Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port, as an important project of Yiyongzhou's opening of the main channel to the west, is expected to start construction in the second half of this year.
