u3000u3000 On October 7, 2021, Uzbekistan passed the Cabinet Order No. 627 on "Supplementary Measures to Ensure Residents' Basic Food Supply and Maintain Price Stability in the Domestic Market".


u3000u3000Before May 1, 2022, the following fruits are exempt from customs duties:


u3000u3000 Bananas, kiwis; fresh or dried dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guava, mangos and mangosteens; fresh or dried citrus fruits; fresh papaya, apples, pears, pears, etc.

u3000u3000 From October 10, 2021 to December 31, 2021, the following products sold and imported in Uzbekistan are exempt from VAT:


u3000u3000 Meat (beef, lamb, chicken); live animals (cattle and poultry) and their slaughtered products; potatoes and frozen fish.

On October 20, 2021, Uzbekistan passed Presidential Decree No. 5262 "Measures to Further Expand the Production of Competitive Products", stipulating that before January 1, 2024, 82 kinds of imported raw materials and semi-finished products shall be subject to zero import tariffs, including :


u3000u3000 Castor oil, asbestos, solid form of sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), dyes of animal and plant origin, glass glazes and glazes, surfactants, detergents, artificial waxes, prefabricated adhesives, artificial fur, plywood, cotton and linen fabrics, etc.
