Nong Duc Lai, Commercial Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in China, revealed that according to statistics from Vietnam Customs, the total two-way trade in 2021 will reach US$165.8 billion, an increase of 33.5% over 2020; and according to the statistics of China Customs, the total two-way trade will exceed US$200 billion for the first time. mark, reaching 230.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 19.7% over the previous year.
With this result, China continues to be Vietnam's largest trading partner and second largest export market, while Vietnam continues to be China's largest trading partner in ASEAN and China's sixth largest trading partner in the world (after the United States, Japan, South Korea, Germany, etc.). and Australia).
