For steel products, the levy 35 will be imposed on certain powders under ITC HS code 72052900, certain ferrous scrap and scrap under code 72044900, various pipes under subcode 7300, and some semi-finished products under codes 72071200 and 72249000 % tariff.
For aluminium products, several types of bar, rod, wire, plate, sheet and strip will be subject to a 35% duty. The tariff hike also applies to some ferroalloys such as ferromanganese and ferrosilicon.
