The European Commission stated in the "2022 Convergence Report" released on June 1 this year that after evaluation, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Sweden and other EU member states applying to join the euro area, Croatia is the only one. A country that meets all four related criteria of price stability, public finances, exchange rates and long-term interest rates. To this end, the European Commission proposed to approve the use of the euro in Croatia from next year.
