From January to August, the CCPIT Changchun Council of Jilin Province issued 1441 certificates of origin, totaling 174.2 million US dollars. In the first eight months, the CCPIT Changchun Council issued 276 preferential certificates of origin, an increase of 83% year on year, amounting to 21.49 million US dollars, an increase of 183% year on year. Most of the preferential certificates of origin were exported to Australia, South Korea, Japan and other countries.

The certificate of origin is a certificate issued by a specific agency of the exporting country that the export goods in international trade are of the origin of the country (or region). It has always been called "paper gold" in the trade of goods. It is a "coupon" for international trade export enterprises to enjoy tariff reduction or exemption in the destination country. Its issuance is a barometer of foreign trade. Changchun CCPIT is the legal institution authorized by CCPIT to issue certificates of origin.

As the certificate of origin is widely welcomed by international trade enterprises, the number of service enterprises of the Changchun Council for the Promotion of International Trade also increases. In the first eight months, the newly registered enterprises of CCPIT Changchun increased by 27% year on year, and issued certificates of origin for more than 190 international trade enterprises, involving auto parts, medical devices and reagents, food, wood products and other industries.

As the level of international trade facilitation continues to improve, CCPIT Changchun will continue to strengthen policy advocacy, do a good job in issuing certificates of origin, help enterprises to layout ahead of time, seize the international market, and promote better and faster development of Changchun's foreign trade economy.
