The RCEP Agreement comes into force to enjoy tariff preferences

High level opening up cannot be separated from regional economic and trade cooperation. This year is the first year that the RCEP Agreement came into force. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, in the first half of this year, Chinese international trade export enterprises applied for 266000 RCEP certificates of origin and issued statements of origin, with a value of 97.9 billion yuan, and could enjoy a tariff reduction of 710 million yuan from the importing country.

She told the reporter that the company produced, processed and sold its products by itself, eliminating intermediate links, so the products had advantages in terms of quality and price. After the RCEP takes effect, the company actively applies for the certificate of origin, enjoys tariff preferences, and makes its business even better.

Zhang Yumei said: "The RCEP has played a positive role in the company's further development of the Japanese market, so that enterprises on both sides of international trade can save costs and enjoy preferential treatment. In addition, the yen exchange rate is conducive to exports in the near future, so we are full of energy."

For the first time to participate in the online Canton Fair this year, Zhang Yumei felt that this display mode was beneficial to enterprise marketing. "Although offline exhibition is convenient for communication, customers can intuitively see the products and establish contact. But online exhibition can also achieve the same effect. Business contact can also be established by uploading videos, pictures and mailing samples." It is worth mentioning that in order to help enterprises rescue, this Canton Fair will continue to exempt enterprises from online participation fees, and will not charge any fees from cross-border e-commerce platforms participating in synchronous activities. "This will save our enterprises money! I am very satisfied with the way of holding the online Canton Fair." Zhang Yumei said so.
