According to the import and export data, steel plates and semiconductors occupy the top two positions with US $1.78 billion and US $1.74 billion respectively. Thanks to the launch of 5G mobile services in India, the export of wireless communication equipment surged 158% year on year to $460 million.
According to import and export data, South Korea's imports from India in the first nine months of this year were 7.35 billion US dollars, up 27.2% year on year. In the first half of the year, the growth rate was 47.1%, a large increase, but the decline has gradually expanded since August (- 7.4%) and September (- 24.3%). As a result, South Korea's trade balance with India reached 7.26 billion US dollars. In particular, the surplus in the third quarter was 3.51 billion US dollars, reaching the second highest level in history.
