Despite the chill of global trade, it is still "spring" for some Chinese international trade enterprises.
Xia Jiaxi, deputy general manager of a new energy technology company in Wuxi, revealed that the company's export orders are now soaring. In the first half of this year, the output value of last year was completed, and the original export proportion of 50% was increased to 70%. In addition to shipping products to overseas warehouses in Europe in advance, the company also plans to invest in building solar plants in Spain and other places to meet the growing market demand.
Liu Liping, the general manager of the overseas marketing center of Zhejiang Zhongguang Electrical Appliance Group, also said that recently workers are working overtime to catch up with orders. The normal delivery time of the company is 45 days, but the delivery time in the next order peak season may be extended to two or three months.
According to the survey of CCPIT, 45.1% of international trade enterprises said that their confidence in foreign trade development gradually recovered in the third quarter; About 30% of foreign trade enterprises are expected to achieve year-on-year growth in the annual trade volume, which is about 4 percentage points higher than that in the second quarter. Among them, large and medium-sized international trade enterprises are more optimistic about the situation throughout the year.
The warmth felt by enterprises has also been verified in macro data. According to official statistics, the total value of China's international trade imports and exports in the first eight months of this year was 27.3 trillion yuan, up 10.1% year on year. Among them, the year-on-year growth rate of exports reached 14.2%. Among the major economies in the world, this data is quite bright.
Analysts believe that the resilience and vitality of China's foreign trade is largely related to the continuous enhancement of innovation and upgrading of enterprises in recent years when the Ukrainian crisis, epidemic situation and other multiple adverse factors cast a shadow on global trade.
"We have long realized that the market competition will become more and more fierce, and it depends on who will make faster and harder transformation." Zhou Jinfen, general manager of Ningbo Zhongfu International Trade Co., Ltd., said that in recent years, in addition to not relaxing product innovation, the company has also made efforts to adapt to the new trend of foreign trade development after the epidemic, and has continuously increased investment in new formats and models such as online marketing and live broadcast. As early as the beginning of the epidemic in 2020, the company established a social media marketing team to expand new customers by taking advantage of the online holding of the Canton Fair.
Bai Ming, deputy director of the International Market Research Institute of the International Trade and Economic Cooperation Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, said that in the past decade, China's international trade enterprises have significantly enhanced their innovation awareness, and their advantages of rich innovation resources, high R&D market transformation rate, and strong innovation and application have continued to improve. The advantages of the industrial chain supply chain integrity have also been further amplified. This has played an important role in maintaining stable growth of China's foreign trade against the increasingly severe and complex international environment.
At present, China has introduced more policies to promote the innovation and development of foreign trade formats and models, including the establishment of a new batch of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones and greater support for overseas warehouses.
Gao Lingyun, a researcher at the Institute of World Economy and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said that international trade competition is fundamentally a competition for innovation. To improve the quality of foreign trade is to keep the development of foreign trade strong by encouraging enterprises to constantly develop new products, new formats and new models. In the future, with the intensive implementation of various policies that support enterprises to research and develop new products and new forms of business, the innovation ability of enterprises is expected to further improve, the industrial upgrading is expected to accelerate, and China's foreign trade competitiveness and pressure resistance will become stronger.
