Customs data: From January to October, Hubei's total foreign trade import and export value exce

On November 9, Wuhan Customs data was released. From January to October 2022, the total import and export value of Hubei Province was 513.66 billion yuan, an increase of 18.5% over the same period last year (the same below). Among them, the export was 348.06 billion yuan, up 25.6%; Imports reached 165.6 billion yuan, up 6%.

According to customs data, from January to October, the largest trade partner of Hubei Province was ASEAN, with bilateral trade value of 79.38 billion yuan, up 36.1%. In the same period, Hubei's import and export to other 14 member countries of RCEP totaled 155.58 billion yuan, an increase of 20.8%, accounting for 30.3% of the province's total import and export value in the same period. In addition, the import and export to countries along the "the Belt and Road" totaled 154.7 billion yuan, up 36.7%, accounting for 30.1% of the province's total import and export value over the same period.

The vitality of private enterprises was fully stimulated, and the proportion of import and export value exceeded 60%. According to customs data, from January to October, the import and export of private enterprises in Hubei Province reached 321.38 billion yuan, an increase of 25.6%, 7.1 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of the province's import and export, accounting for 62.6% of the province's total import and export value in the same period, and 3.5 percentage points higher than the same period last year.

According to customs data, from January to October, Wuhan's foreign trade import and export amounted to 296.68 billion yuan, up 9%, accounting for 57.8% of the province's total import and export value in the same period.

The export value of mechanical and electrical products accounted for nearly 50%. According to customs data, from January to October, Hubei Province exported 164.04 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 13.1%, accounting for 47.1% of the province's total export value. Among them, the export of electronic components and automobiles reached 23.08 billion yuan and 8.15 billion yuan, up 18.4% and 70.4% respectively.
