According to customs data, in the first half of the year, China's cross-border e-commerce import and export continued to maintain a good momentum of development, with the import and export of cross-border e-commerce reaching 886.7 billion yuan, up 28.6% year on year. According to customs data, there are 132 cross-border e-commerce pilot zones in China, basically covering the whole country; The number of overseas warehouses exceeds 2000 and the area exceeds 16 million square meters; In addition, China has established bilateral e-commerce cooperation mechanisms with 23 countries on five continents.

At the executive meeting of the State Council held on September 13, it was proposed to promote greater development of new forms of foreign trade, set up a new batch of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot areas, and give greater support to the construction of overseas warehouses.

Analysts believe that encouraging the expansion of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot areas, supporting them to carry out first and first trials, and making full use of the combination of online and offline channels are conducive to expanding diversified market space, promoting the stability and quality of foreign trade, and becoming a new growth point of foreign trade.
