These two days, Ran Hong, the foreign trade manager of Wenzhou Six meter Steel Co., Ltd., has a new order on his desk: in June this year, the company participated in the foreign trade exhibition for the first time, and received orders from customers in Dubai. What is exciting is that after the delivery, the customer added a new order, which is three times of the first one. "Our company has been engaged in domestic trade for more than ten years. This year, we tried foreign trade for the first time. Unexpectedly, we found a good market." Ran Hong said that this has opened a Xintiandi for the development of enterprises' international trade market.

Longwan, where Six meter Steel is located, has been doing everything possible since this year to help enterprises stabilize their orders, seize the international market and open a new world of exports by taking measures such as "expanding the market, promoting transformation and optimizing services". From January to September this year, Longwan District achieved an export of 22.411 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 64.72%, ranking the third among 90 counties (cities and districts) in the province and the first among 44 industrial counties.

Xintiandi comes from a new model. In this report card, the Longwan Headquarters of Qingshan Holding Group, a Fortune 500 enterprise, made a lot of contributions: in the first three quarters of this year, the Group achieved 3.565 billion yuan in international trade exports, a year-on-year increase of 91.83%. Under the continuous impact of the COVID-19, Qingshan Holdings' overseas projects face more challenges, but this has not changed the government's determination to escort enterprises to "go global".

The headquarters of Qingshan Holding Group, located in Longwan, exports a large number of means of production for overseas parks every year, which is a model of international trade export driven by overseas investment.

At the beginning of this year, Weidabe Industrial Park, which is located in Indonesia, was facing a shortage of production and construction. Longwan Branch of Wenzhou Public Security Bureau docked with the National Immigration Administration to strive for policy support for cross provincial centralized passport handling. After more than two months of efforts, the first batch of 411 employee passports were all completed, which solved the urgent needs of the enterprise. The employment of Indonesian industrial parks has been guaranteed, which means that a large number of Zhejiang export orders have been preserved.

Xintiandi comes from new channels. The epidemic stopped enterprises from going out to participate in exhibitions to take orders. In late June this year, Longwan, which has the golden card of "China Valve City", took the initiative to hold the first 2022 China Wenzhou International Pump and Valve Exhibition (online) to guide enterprises to explore the international trade market in the mode of "cloud exhibition".

"Surprisingly, in the online warm-up exhibition of this supporting physical exhibition, Longwan enterprises encountered many sparks with overseas customers." Jian Shoucheng, Chief of Foreign Trade Section of Longwan District Bureau of Commerce, said.

Recently, the largest international pump valve exhibition in Wenzhou history was held under the Longwan line, attracting more than 400 pump valve enterprises in the city, including 150 Longwan enterprises. "In the large-scale exhibitions after the epidemic, there are more and more international purchasers and rare opportunities." Jian Shoucheng said that all efforts were reflected in the orders. Overseas intended orders for this exhibition exceeded 20 million dollars.

Xintiandi comes from new industries. Longwan used to be an industrial area, with 8 golden business cards, including China's synthetic leather capital and China's fastener capital. However, with the change of new economy and new market, traditional industries are challenged. "If we don't transform, we will be eliminated." The principal of Longwan District Party Committee said frankly. By "vacating the cage for birds", Longwan eliminated backward production capacity and inefficient enterprises, freeing up 4520 mu of land. What is the land that is hard to vacate? New energy is one of the four emerging industries in Longwan. In the past two years, new energy enterprises such as Rapunjun Energy and Wheat Field Energy competed to settle down.

Wheat field energy focused on the research, development and sales of distributed power supply, energy storage power supply and energy storage battery. Its products are sold to nearly 20 countries and regions around the world. "In order to help us seize the international trade market, the government departments invited CITIC Thermal Insulation State Company to provide on-site guidance, and also increased the policy to win premium subsidies." Liu Liyu, head of international sales of Maitian Energy, said that from January to October this year, the company seized the outlet of new energy and achieved self operated export of more than 1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of three times.

Manufacturing exports achieved good results, helping to increase confidence and stabilize expectations. Recently, Wenzhou RCEP high-level open cooperation demonstration zone with Longwan as the main carrier was successfully approved, which means that Longwan export enterprises can obtain more preferential policies and better promote the economic and trade exchanges between Longwan export enterprises and RCEP member countries.
