According to the statistics of Shenzhen Customs, in the first three quarters of this year, the import and export of Shenzhen's textile and clothing reached 56.08 billion yuan, up 6.4% year on year. Among them, the export was 51.22 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8%. Despite the impact of various uncertain factors such as the epidemic situation, textile and clothing products have achieved good export results with the help of RCEP. Encouraged by the dividend of the RCEP policy, Shenzhen's clothing exports to Japan have also become increasingly popular. For this reason, Shenzhen Customs has printed a list of tax reductions for Japan's textile and clothing industries, which is targeted to Japanese export enterprises to help international trade enterprises understand and use the RCEP policy in place.

Recently, with the RCEP Certificate of Origin issued by Dongjiang Customs under Tianjin Customs, Tianjin Hongfu Zhiyuan International Trade Co., Ltd. successfully cleared a batch of hardware products exported to Japan in Osaka, Japan, and obtained tariff preference. This is the 30th RCEP certificate of origin that the enterprise applied to the customs this year.

"This is thanks to the 'paper gold' in international trade!" Our company's exports to Japan are mainly construction hardware, including washers, bolts, riveting and welding parts and other products. This year's implementation of RCEP has reduced the tariff of our exported goods in Japan. Our costs have been reduced, and Japan's major customers have shared the benefits. This small and micro foreign trade enterprise registered in Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone has exported more than 17 million yuan worth of hardware products since this year, and has accumulated more than 90000 yuan of RCEP tariff concessions.

From January to October, Tianjin Customs issued 3440 RCEP certificates of origin for enterprises under its jurisdiction, with a visa amount of about 1.47 billion yuan. Exported goods can obtain tariff preference of 7.3 million yuan from the importer.

On November 8, Changshu Customs, affiliated to Nanjing Customs, issued a RCEP certificate of origin for cellulose materials produced by Changshu Weiyi Technology Co., Ltd. By virtue of this certificate, the goods can enjoy tariff reduction and exemption of nearly 10,000 dollars from the importing country. "Our company is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the research, development, production and sales of food grade and high-end special industrial cellulose materials. The tariff concessions brought by the implementation of RCEP have improved our competitiveness in the international market. From January to October, the amount of goods we exported to RCEP member countries has increased by nearly 40% year on year." Huang Li, business manager of Changshu Weiyi Technology Co., Ltd.

In addition to enjoying direct tariff reduction and exemption, the RCEP policy also helps enterprises expand their "circle of friends". On November 8, Youda Optoelectronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. imported a batch of photoresists from Japan. According to the tax reduction arrangement of the RCEP Free Trade Agreement, it can enjoy a 1% tariff reduction, with a tariff reduction of more than 5000 yuan. "Our company needs to import about 5.5 million dollars of photoresist every year. After the implementation of the RCEP policy, we began to try to purchase some models from the Japanese market. Only photoresist can save about 500000 yuan of tariff." Chen Guangjuan, customs affairs manager of Youda Optoelectronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. said.

In order to help enterprises deepen the use of RCEP policies, Nanjing Customs strengthened the in-depth study of regional accumulation and other rules, and "one enterprise, one policy" accurately guided enterprises to make full use of the policies and better grasp the "window period" of development opportunities.

"The powder coatings produced by our company use a large amount of raw materials imported from Japan. Previously, because this situation did not conform to the rules of origin under the China ASEAN and China South Korea Free Trade Agreements, it was impossible to apply for the relevant preferential certificate of origin. After the implementation of the RCEP policy, Japan is also one of the contracting parties, so it can use the cumulative rules of origin to issue the certificate of origin. Therefore, the cost of importing raw materials from Japan has been reduced." Fei Shuxin, head of the import and export department of Akzo Nobel Functional Coatings (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., said that it was estimated that these goods could obtain 0.5% and 5% tariff preferences when they were exported to South Korea and Thailand by virtue of the RCEP certificate of origin. Up to now, Changzhou Customs has issued 16 RCEP certificates of origin for powder coatings exported by the enterprise to South Korea and Thailand, with a certified value of 1.2 million dollars.
