Overseas vehicle pile ratio is out of balance, and domestic enterprises speed up going to sea

Daotong Technology said that its charging pile products have passed the certification of overseas countries, and have been shortlisted for many projects in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, etc. Autoxun said that the company's European standard charging stack products have passed the CE certification, which will have a positive impact on the company's overseas market expansion.
It is understood that due to different product standards, domestic charging piles cannot be directly exported to Europe and the United States. For domestic charging pile manufacturers, passing the test or certification of products is the first step in the international trade market, which also clears the obstacles for subsequent large-scale export.
For domestic charging pile enterprises to go abroad actively, He Li, the general manager of Zhizhishan Investment under Private Placement Paipai Network, said that at present, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in Europe and the United States is generally lower than 30%, and the subsequent sales will continue to grow rapidly, but the charging piles in Europe and the United States are relatively insufficient, the construction demand is urgent, and there is still great room for construction compared with the 3:1 car pile ratio in China.
According to the data of Everbright Securities Research Report, as of April 2022, the vehicle pile ratio in the U.S. market is 21.2:1, and the overall vehicle pile ratio in the EU is 8.5:1, including 20:1 in Germany, 16:1 in Britain, 10:1 in France, and 5:1 in the Netherlands. There is a large gap between China and China. The infrastructure of charging piles is seriously insufficient, and the gap contains huge market space.
Cui Dongshu believes that although domestic charging piles are also facing a gap, it is more a land problem than a supply side production capacity problem, so the overseas market may become a competitive place for domestic charging pile manufacturers to digest capacity.
Policy support plus price advantage Overseas orders have been placed
In addition to strong demand, the introduction of overseas subsidy policies and price advantages also attract a large number of domestic charging pile manufacturers.
According to public data, since 2022, many European countries have introduced specific policies, including subsidies for the construction of commercial charging piles and household charging piles, which can cover the construction and installation costs of charging piles. Since August 2022, American states have also accelerated to subsidize the construction of residential and commercial electric vehicle charging piles. For example, the amount of subsidies for a single station of household AC piles is concentrated at $200 to $500, while the amount of subsidies for public AC piles is concentrated at $3000 to $6000. According to the agency's estimation, the amount of subsidies can cover 40% to 50% of the charging cost of purchase piles.
"As the subsidy policy for charging piles in Europe and the United States is fully implemented in 2022, the construction of public and private charging piles in the European and American markets is expected to usher in a big explosion." However, it is worth noting that not only domestic pile enterprises aim at the European and American markets, but also Japanese and Korean leading enterprises are entering the European and American markets. On November 16, SK Signet, the second largest enterprise group in South Korea, announced on its official website that it would build an electric vehicle charging pile factory in Plano, Texas, with an annual output of more than 10000 fast charging piles. At the same time, domestic pile enterprises are also facing competition from local giants. According to Guosen Securities Research Report, the new energy charging pile market in Europe is currently dominated by the old electric manufacturers ABB, Siemens and Schneider. By 2021, ABB will account for about 40% of the market share in Europe that year.
In He's opinion, domestic charging pile enterprises have certain technological and cost advantages in international competition, and the international trade market has high acceptance of Chinese enterprises.
At present, some domestic listed companies related to charging piles have application cases or orders overseas. For example, Autoxun said that the company's European standard products have formed actual sales contracts and have been applied overseas. Easter said that this year, it will focus on Europe and America, making breakthroughs in charging pile business, and focusing on serving large local power companies and installation service companies. At present, orders from customers in Italy, Egypt and Canada have been implemented. Daotong Technology revealed that the company's DC pile products have been listed and sold in succession, and quickly obtained orders from Europe, the United States, Singapore, Australia and other regions. In the first half of the year, AC charging pile products also entered the top five categories of Amazon America.
