According to the Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation Report, Guangxi and Vietnam are connected by mountains and rivers, land and sea. Vietnam has remained the largest trading partner of Guangxi for many years in a row. It is hoped that enterprises of both sides can seize the opportunity of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), promote the construction of platforms such as China Dongxing Vietnam Mangjie Cross border Economic Cooperation Zone, improve the level of trade and investment cooperation, and inject more energy into regional economic recovery.

RCEP Trade and Investment Exchange Meeting - Vietnam Special Session was held on the same day, with two venues, Guangxi, China and Pingyang Province, Vietnam. Vietnam has made full preparations for the implementation of RCEP, and will be committed to deepening the reform of law, economy and other aspects, extending the industrial chain, supply chain and value chain based on the Guangxi open platform, and fully supporting the development of Vietnam China economic and trade cooperation.

On the same day, a number of projects such as the China Vietnam International Railway 3C Electronic Products Container International Intermodal Transport, the China Vietnam International Railway Bulk Commodities International Intermodal Transport, and the "the Belt and Road" Silk Export were collectively signed, with a total contract amount of about 27 million dollars. At present, the daily traffic capacity of Guangxi Port has reached more than 3500 vehicles. The Puzhai Xinqing special freight channel has become a "green channel" for Vietnam's agricultural product import. The cross-border freight train from Nanning International Railway Port to Vietnam's same boarding station has achieved "half day arrival".

According to the import and export data, in the first 10 months of this year, Guangxi's import and export volume to Vietnam reached 146.98 billion yuan, accounting for 28.7% of Guangxi's foreign trade in the same period. Guangxi's imports of agricultural products from Vietnam increased by 63%, and Vietnam's agricultural products went deep into China's hinterland market through Guangxi.
