Customs officers interpret the rules of certificate of origin for international trade export enterprises to help international trade enterprises enjoy export benefits.
"In October this year, our company learned about and applied for the qualification of RCEP as an approved international trade exporter through the publicity and implementation of Shenzhen Customs' RCEP Service Month. Later, we can directly issue a declaration of origin for exports of goods from RCEP member countries to enjoy tariff preferences, eliminating the procedure of applying to the customs, which greatly facilitates our enterprise." Mr. Liu from Shenzhen Skyworth Digital Technology Co., Ltd. said.
From January to October, Shenzhen Customs helped 6.34 billion yuan of imported and exported goods in international trade enjoy RCEP tariff preferences, with tax preferences of about 299 million yuan. At the same time, it increased support and training for approved exporters, sorted out the list of enterprises entitled to and not entitled to RCEP, and carried out one-to-one research and application guidance for key enterprises. Since this year, 44 enterprises have passed the certification of international trade exporters.
Since January 1 this year, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) has officially entered into force for 13 member countries, including China, Japan and New Zealand. In combination with the actual implementation of RCEP, Shenzhen Customs, together with the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Judicial Bureau and the International Arbitration Court, established the "RCEP Service Center" to create a one-stop service platform, fully support enterprises to enjoy the preferential policies of the RCEP Free Trade Zone, and improve the efficiency of RCEP implementation.
