According to the statistics of Nanjing Customs, in the first 11 months of this year, Jiangsu's foreign trade import and export amounted to 5 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.7% over the same period last year (the same below), accounting for 13% of China's total import and export value in the same period. Among them, the export reached 3.19 trillion yuan, up 9.6%; Imports reached 1.81 trillion yuan, up 2%.

In the first 11 months, the main characteristics of the province's foreign trade import and export are: the proportion of general trade has increased, and the independence of trade has increased. According to the customs data, in the first 11 months, the province's import and export in the form of general trade reached 2.86 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.3%, accounting for 0.8 percentage points to 57.2% of the province's total import and export value compared with the same period last year. Over the same period, the import and export through processing trade amounted to 1.56 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.3%, accounting for 31.2%.

According to customs data, in the first 11 months, the import and export of private enterprises in our province reached 2 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.3%, accounting for 40.1% of the total import and export value of our province. The growth rate of private enterprises was 5.6 percentage points higher than that of the whole province, driving the import and export growth of the province by 4.7 percentage points. During the same period, the import and export of foreign-funded enterprises and state-owned enterprises reached 2.53 trillion yuan and 460.02 billion yuan respectively, up 2.2% and 9.6% respectively, accounting for 50.7% and 9.2%.

The scale of import and export to ASEAN has exceeded that of last year, and the proportion of trade to countries along the "the Belt and Road" has increased significantly. According to the customs data, in the first 11 months, the province's import and export to the EU, ASEAN, the United States, South Korea, Japan and other major trading partners were 761.97 billion yuan, 751.69 billion yuan, 657.1 billion yuan, 531.11 billion yuan, 401.23 billion yuan, up 10.4%, 12.9%, 2.6%, 8.8% and 0.7% respectively, accounting for 62.1% of the province's total import and export value. Over the same period, the import and export to countries along the "the Belt and Road" reached 1.35 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.8%, representing an increase of 1.7 percentage points to 27% over the same period last year.

The export of key new energy products, such as photovoltaic and lithium electricity, increased significantly, and the export of organic chemicals grew rapidly. According to customs data, in the first 11 months, Sichuan exported 2.11 trillion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 9.5%, accounting for 66.2% of Jiangsu's total export value.

In addition, the import of agricultural products grew rapidly. In the first 11 months, the import of agricultural products in Sichuan was 147.29 billion yuan, an increase of 24.5%.
