In order to mitigate the impact of normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, in the near future, Guizhou Province has further strengthened its exploration of overseas markets, strived to address the urgent needs of market players for "going global", actively carried out the action of "expanding the market and grabbing orders to promote investment", promoted and encouraged enterprises to "go global", and accelerated their integration into the international trade market.

In order to plan and deploy in advance and make relevant preparations, Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce held a special meeting on December 7 to study the work related to Guizhou's foreign trade group's investigation in the international trade market, and promote the quality improvement of the open economy around the development of overseas markets. Ma Lei, the director of Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and the director of Guizhou Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau, said at the meeting that we should focus on the overall development of the province, combine various forces to form a strong joint force, promote systematic and project-based going global, promote openness and stabilize the market.

In order to implement the "going global" strategy, on December 12, Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and Guizhou Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau jointly held a mobilization meeting for three major regional investment promotion activities: "expanding the market, grabbing orders and promoting investment promotion", and this winter and next spring. At the meeting, Ma Lei asked the business system to actively help Guizhou's international trade enterprises to meet the challenges, and comprehensively carry out the action of "expanding the market, grabbing orders and promoting investment promotion" in 2023. The mobilization meeting further clarified the main tasks, that is, focusing on the tuyere industry, characteristic industry and transfer industry, to achieve "big breakthrough" in orders in key national markets with advantageous characteristic products, to achieve "big layout" in the construction of international marketing system, and to achieve "big leap" in the introduction of foreign trade and foreign economic entities. The action will be divided into three stages to organize a group to go overseas for investment attraction and expand the international trade market. Specifically, we will focus on activities such as organizing a group to participate in international exhibitions, organizing a group visit, investment promotion, customer docking, signing trade and investment contracts, investigating the location of overseas warehouses, establishing overseas business representative offices and overseas marketing service public platforms.

At the subsequent online exchange meeting of overseas Guizhou Chamber of Commerce and overseas Chinese enterprises, Zheng Jianhua, president of Guizhou General Chamber of Commerce in Australia, said that Guizhou Province is rich in resources. While vigorously promoting the export of Guizhou goods to the sea, it needs to first connect with international standards, attach importance to the selection of products and enterprise qualifications, and accurately connect with the market. Tan Yue, president of Guizhou Chamber of Commerce in Spain, said that he hoped more Guizhou enterprises could export Guizhou featured products to Spain by participating in various exhibitions in Spain, improve the popularity of Guizhou products and industries, and quickly integrate into the Spanish market.

Yang Qiansheng, vice chairman of Guizhou Federation of Overseas Chinese hoped that all chambers of commerce and overseas Chinese enterprises would assist the Provincial Department of Commerce in implementing the series of work of organizing foreign trade groups to expand markets, grab orders and promote investment promotion, giving full play to their role as bridgeheads and workstations overseas, unblocking information channels, expanding Guizhou's "circle of friends" for developing foreign trade, and helping Guizhou to seize the first opportunity in the new round of economic recovery.

Ma Lei pointed out that in the post epidemic era, we should take the initiative to connect with domestic and international markets, organize foreign trade enterprises to expand the market, grab orders and promote investment. Focusing on "key tuyere industries" such as soy sauce wine, new energy batteries and materials, and digital economy, "distinctive advantageous industries" such as aerospace equipment manufacturing, deep processing of agricultural products (prefabricated dishes), and cultural, tourism and health care, and "transfer industries" such as textiles, household appliances, and cross-border e-commerce, Accelerate the integration into the domestic and international double cycle, and promote the high-quality development of Guizhou's international trade.
