According to customs data, the total import and export value of Hubei Province from January to November this year was 564.66 billion yuan, an increase of 16.3% over the same period last year (the same below). According to customs data, from the perspective of import and export mode, Hubei's import and export in the first November of this year was 428.87 billion yuan in general trade, an increase of 21.5%, accounting for 76% of Hubei's total import and export value (the same below), an increase of 3.2 percentage points over the same period last year. According to customs data, Hubei's import and export to countries along the "the Belt and Road" totaled 173.31 billion yuan in the first November of this year, up 35.5%, 19.2 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of Hubei's import and export over the same period, significantly higher than the overall growth rate.
Private enterprises are still the "main force" of foreign trade in Hubei Province. According to customs data, from January to November this year, the import and export of private enterprises in Hubei Province was 354.01 billion yuan, an increase of 22%, accounting for 62.7%, 2.9 percentage points higher than the same period last year. The status of the largest import and export entity was more stable, and the contribution rate to the overall growth of import and export in Hubei Province reached 80.7%. During the same period, the import and export of state-owned enterprises was 114.17 billion yuan, and that of foreign-funded enterprises was 95.88 billion yuan. From the perspective of cities and prefectures in Hubei Province, the proportion of import and export in Wuhan decreased by 5 percentage points compared with the same period last year. Except Xiantao and Shennongjia, the import and export of the remaining 16 cities and prefectures maintained double-digit growth. Among them, the import and export value of Yichang, Huangshi and Xiangyang exceeded 30 billion yuan, and the import and export growth of Jingzhou, Jingmen, Qianjiang, Ezhou and Enshi exceeded 50%.
According to customs data, Hubei mainly exported electromechanical products and labor-intensive products in the first November of this year. Among them, the export of automobiles, spare parts and integrated circuits grew well, with 18.6 billion yuan and 12.23 billion yuan respectively, up 38.1% and 27.5% respectively, and the export of labor-intensive products was 51.92 billion yuan, up 2.5%, accounting for 13.5%.
In terms of imported products, over 70% of Hubei's imports in the first November of this year were industrial products, reaching 127.59 billion yuan, accounting for 70.6% of Hubei's total import value in the same period. At the same time, the import of primary products was also relatively prosperous. The import of copper ore, iron ore and crude oil increased by 17%, 56% and 31.2% respectively, and the import value increased by 7.7%, 19.4% and 91.4% respectively.
