2022-12-29

According to the Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation Report, the CCPIT held a monthly regular press conference on December 27. Yang Fan, the press spokesman at the meeting, said that since the beginning of November, CCPIT had completed the approval of the first 15 pilot projects of overseas trade and economic exhibitions. The feedback from enterprises was generally good and fruitful, and the intended turnover and new customers exceeded expectations. CCPIT also organized enterprise delegations to overseas to carry out economic and trade promotion activities, and organized enterprises to return to important overseas exhibitions by offline participation, which has achieved good results. CCPIT said that it would focus on promoting the participation and holding of exhibitions in developing countries, emerging market countries and strategic emerging areas, while taking into account the well-known exhibitions in developed countries, and further helping enterprises expand business opportunities overseas.

In addition, focusing on the recent release of "20 measures to optimize epidemic prevention and control" and "10 new measures to optimize the implementation of epidemic prevention and control", the research of CCPIT shows that most of the interviewed foreign-funded enterprises will have more confidence in China's economic development prospects in 2023 and will maintain and expand investment in China. CCPIT said that it will take the special work of the national trade promotion system to serve foreign-funded enterprises as an important starting point to promote the overall improvement of economic operation, and continue to provide targeted services to foreign-funded enterprises.

The enterprise "went to sea" to expand the market and achieved better results than expected

According to the observation report of Huacheng import and export data, Yang Fan said that with the orderly implementation of the optimization and adjustment of epidemic prevention and control measures, it is increasingly urgent for Chinese enterprises to "go global" to explore the international market. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has made progress in three aspects by taking multiple measures to help enterprises expand the market and obtain orders.

First, we completed the approval of the first batch of pilot projects for overseas trade and economic exhibitions. In August this year, CCPIT officially accepted the application for participating in exhibition projects abroad in the form of "acting as an exhibitor", and 17 of the 22 approved exhibition projects have been implemented. Since the beginning of November, the approval of the first 15 pilot projects for overseas trade and economic exhibitions has been completed, involving 8 countries such as Germany and the United States, as well as textile, auto parts and other fields. From the perspective of the six projects that have been implemented, the enterprises have generally received good feedback and harvest, and the intended turnover and new customers have exceeded the expectations.

Second, organize enterprise delegations to carry out economic and trade promotion activities overseas. Since November, CCPIT has led entrepreneurs' delegations to attend the APEC Business Leaders' Summit and the G20 Business Summit and have extensive exchanges with business people from all countries. Organize enterprise groups to visit the Czech Republic, Poland and Croatia, hold the China Croatia Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, and promote practical cooperation with enterprises in Central and Eastern Europe. At the China Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit, BYD, Huawei and other enterprises actively demonstrated the latest achievements in high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, which attracted extensive attention from Latin American enterprises.

Third, organize enterprises to return to important overseas exhibitions by offline participation. Recently, China Exhibition Group affiliated to CCPIT organized 58 Chinese enterprises to participate in the International Sporting Goods Exhibition in Munich, Germany, with 120 booths and 1080 square meters of exhibition area. The amount of trade orders signed was about 18 million euros, and the intended amount was about 35 million euros; Each exhibitor received more than 70 effective customers on average, 150% more than before the epidemic, including 35% more new customers. Exhibitors generally reported that this exhibition had the best effect in recent years, and the number of orders obtained had increased significantly compared with that before the epidemic, and they all said they would book booths for the next exhibition.

Yang Fan said that in the next step, CCPIT would timely start the approval of subsequent overseas economic and trade exhibitions, accelerate the resumption of offline enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions, focus on promoting exhibitions in developing countries, emerging market countries and strategic emerging areas, and take into account the well-known exhibitions in the industry of developed countries to further help enterprises expand business opportunities overseas. Recently, CCPIT also conducted research on foreign-funded enterprises and foreign business associations around the "20 measures to optimize epidemic prevention and control" and "10 new measures to optimize the implementation of epidemic prevention and control" issued by the Comprehensive Group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council.

At the same time, foreign-funded enterprises generally reported that they welcomed the latest overall plan of "Class B and Class B management" for novel coronavirus infection.

Continue to provide targeted services for foreign-funded enterprises

From December 15 to 16, the Central Economic Work Conference was held in Beijing. The meeting stressed that greater efforts should be made to attract and utilize foreign capital, promote high-level opening up, and improve the quality and level of trade and investment cooperation.

Yang Fan said that CCPIT will focus on the national trade promotion system to serve foreign-funded enterprises as an important starting point to promote the overall improvement of economic operation, continue to provide targeted services to foreign-funded enterprises, make greater efforts to promote the steady stock and expansion of foreign capital, and contribute to the promotion of trade to promote high-level opening up.

First, improve the work quality and effect of special classes, accelerate the promotion and application of the direct reporting platform for appeals of foreign-funded enterprises, expand online training and personalized services, establish a classified database of appeals of foreign-funded enterprises, and strive to promote the solution of appeals of foreign-funded enterprises.

Second, strengthen the regular contact with transnational corporations and foreign business associations, hold a forum for foreign-funded enterprises, strengthen institutional cooperation with relevant departments and local governments, organize more policy lectures and government enterprise dialogues, and strengthen policy interpretation and precise drip irrigation.

Third, improve the functions of the local business environment monitoring system, conduct annual business environment research and release evaluation reports, improve the construction of platforms such as "investment in China", organize "local travel" activities, and support local governments to use major exhibition forums to attract investment.

Fourth, strengthen tracking services for key foreign-funded enterprises and projects, provide maximum convenience for foreign investors to engage in trade and investment negotiations in China, coordinate and promote the implementation of major foreign-funded projects, and guide more foreign investment in advanced manufacturing and other fields.
