The joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" has promoted China Arab development cooperation. The COVID-19 has swallowed up many years of global development achievements. Global development has entered a critical barrier. The world economic recovery is becoming increasingly difficult, and food and energy security are in crisis. Developing countries, including Arab countries, face serious challenges in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. So far, China has signed cooperation documents with 20 Arab countries and the Arab League to jointly build the "the Belt and Road". The two sides have implemented more than 200 large-scale cooperation projects in energy, infrastructure and other fields, and the results of cooperation have benefited the two sides by nearly 2 billion yuan.

The joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" has led to China Arab international trade and economic cooperation. In 2021, the stock of two-way direct investment between China and Arab countries will reach 27 billion US dollars, 2.6 times higher than 10 years ago; China Arab trade volume reached 330.3 billion US dollars, 1.5 times higher than 10 years ago; In the first three quarters of 2022, China Arab trade volume reached 319.995 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 35.28%, close to the annual level in 2021.

The joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" has deepened China Arab energy cooperation. China and Arab countries are actively building a China Arab energy strategic partnership of mutual benefit and long-term friendship, and jointly building a China Arab energy cooperation pattern of oil and gas traction, nuclear energy follow-up, and clean energy acceleration. In the field of traditional energy, the "oil and gas+" cooperation model between China and Arab countries has been further promoted, and the whole industrial chain cooperation in oil and gas exploration, exploitation, refining, storage and transportation has been formed. A series of flagship projects such as the Saudi Yanbu refinery have been built. In the field of new energy, China has actively expanded cooperation with Arab countries in the fields of solar energy, wind energy, hydropower, etc., and established a large number of cooperation projects such as the China Arab Clean Energy Training Center and the China Egypt (and) Renewable Energy Joint Laboratory.

The joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" has accelerated China Arab high-tech cooperation. Under the framework of the China Arab Science and Technology Partnership Plan, the two sides jointly implement the "the Belt and Road" scientific and technological innovation action plan, make full use of China's technological advantages, and play a driving role in high-tech. In the field of 5G communication, Chinese companies have become key partners in the field of 5G communication in Arab countries, occupying a high market share in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain and other countries. In the field of nuclear energy, Chinese enterprises have signed agreements on the peaceful use of nuclear energy with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and other countries, and have reached cooperation intentions in uranium exploration, nuclear fuel supply, nuclear power plant operation and maintenance and other fields. In the field of space satellites, China and Arab countries have established the cooperation mechanism of the China Arab Beidou Cooperation Forum and established the first overseas center of the Beidou satellite navigation system in Tunisia - the China Arab Beidou/GNSS Center.
