2023-01-09

At the regular press conference held on December 23, the spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, Shu Jueting, said that the current international trade situation is complex and severe, many international trade enterprises have declined orders to varying degrees, and some labor-intensive products have been greatly affected. In response to the above situation, various regions have actively taken various measures to help enterprises cope. "The Ministry of Commerce will continue to guide all localities, make efforts from three aspects, support the majority of foreign trade enterprises to carry out trade promotion and supply and purchase docking, and make greater efforts to promote international trade to stabilize its scale and optimize its structure."

Shu Jueting said, specifically:

First, facilitate business personnel exchanges

The Ministry of Commerce will continue to support local governments to use commercial charter flights and commercial flight resources to facilitate foreign trade enterprise personnel to go abroad to participate in exhibitions, carry out business negotiations and other business activities. At the same time, it will promote the optimization of service guarantee measures for inbound personnel in due time to provide more convenience for overseas business personnel to carry out business negotiation activities in China.

Second, play the role of various exhibitions

The Ministry of Commerce will work with local governments to increase support for enterprises to participate in exhibitions, study eligible exhibitions and restart offline exhibitions in due time, and continue to cultivate online exhibitions with high quality. We will actively support qualified regions to expand the scale of overseas exhibitions and serve more foreign trade enterprises.

Third, help international trade enterprises obtain overseas market information

In view of the problems that some small and medium-sized international trade enterprises report that it is difficult and expensive to obtain information from overseas markets, the Ministry of Commerce will guide local authorities and relevant institutions to improve the supply capacity of information services in overseas markets, and support small and medium-sized international trade enterprises to obtain more high-quality information services.
