This platform is the first one-stop public service platform in China for the local economic and trade fields of SCO countries.

In the past few years, Armenia has set up a promotion center in Qingdao, and Armenia has also become a very active member of the SCO family. With the construction and function expansion of a single window of regional international trade as the core, the SCO Economic and Trade Integrated Service Platform supports the information sharing, exchange and collaborative operation of transnational, cross-sectoral, cross-industry, full-document and full-process, and gradually realizes the exchangeable, queryable and traceable information of the entire regional trade, logistics and other information of SCO member countries, Build a national-level data sharing and exchange hub connecting the trading enterprises of SCO member countries and government regulatory departments.

It is reported that the SCO comprehensive service platform for economic and trade is planned and constructed in three stages. The second stage is to enter the growth period in 2023, deepen and improve the one-stop service system of "trade+customs clearance+logistics+finance", and enter the 2.0 version. Version 2.0 focuses on four characteristic functions, referred to as "four cross": cross-border e-commerce, cross-border settlement, cross-border new trade, and cross-border logistics. The third stage is to enter the mature stage by 2024. The extension empowers the customs, tax, foreign exchange, public security, border inspection and other functional departments to become a demonstration platform for the construction of the State Council's digital government.

Significant achievements in economic and trade cooperation

Since the establishment of the SCO Demonstration Zone more than four years ago, focusing on the construction of "four centers" such as international logistics, modern trade, two-way investment cooperation, business travel and cultural exchange and development, as well as the construction of the SCO School of Economics and Trade, we have accelerated the building of a new platform for international cooperation on the "the Belt and Road", with remarkable achievements in economic and trade cooperation.

In terms of international logistics center, Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport has been built and opened, and 12 international all-cargo aircraft routes and "passenger to cargo" routes have been opened to Almaty and Moscow.

According to the statistics of the recently released Development Report of the China Shanghai Cooperation Organization Demonstration Area for Local Economic and Trade Cooperation, at present, 27 international and domestic trains have been regularly operated in the multimodal transport center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Demonstration Area, 51 cities have access to the SCO and 22 countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road", and more than 2000 trains have been operated in total. The number of sea rail intermodal transport containers has ranked first in China for six consecutive years. It is reported that recently, the SCO Demonstration Zone has released a new batch of 20 institutional innovation cases, mainly involving six aspects: logistics and transportation, trade development, production capacity cooperation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, free flow of personnel, and financial supply convenience, providing solutions for promoting international trade facilitation and improving the level of economic and trade cooperation between SCO countries.

In terms of the two-way investment cooperation center, since the construction of the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone, more than 70 demonstration and leading projects with a total investment of more than 200 billion yuan have been settled here.

In the area of business, tourism and cultural exchange and development center, we have innovatively built dialogue mechanisms such as "cloud gathering, cooperation, joint development", "sister city cooperation, joint creation of the future". Among them, Qingdao has 4 sister cities and 8 friendly cooperative cities with SCO countries; 11 ambassadors of SCO countries to China and more than 120 envoys to China visited the SCO Demonstration Zone; A total of more than 50 activities were held, including the planting of friendship forest by foreign envoys and the "Summer of Shanghai Cooperation".

Close economic and trade cooperation cannot be separated from the support of economic and trade talents. In January 2022, the SCO School of Economics and Trade was officially inaugurated and established. It is committed to building an open platform of science, education and industry with SCO characteristics and international influence, "cultivating talents" for SCO countries and "setting the stage" for multilateral economic and trade cooperation. Up to now, the SCO School of Economics and Trade has carried out 81 classes of foreign aid training and economic and trade training, and more than 7200 people from SCO countries and countries along the "the Belt and Road" have participated in the training, gradually exploring the international education cooperation model of "demand+cultivation+practice".
