According to the customs data, the import and export of Nanning's foreign trade in 2022 will be 151.1 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 22.9%, 15.6 percentage points higher than that of the whole country (7.3%), 11.6 percentage points higher than that of the whole region (11.3%), and more than 20% growth for three consecutive years. According to the customs data, the scale of foreign trade will be the second in the whole region.

According to customs data, in 2022, the import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce in Nanning Comprehensive Pilot Zone will reach 13.786 billion yuan, up 77.4% year on year, accounting for 84.5% of the region.

In 2023, Nanning will actively serve and integrate into the new development pattern, vigorously implement the strategy of expanding domestic demand, and accelerate the construction of an international metropolis open to ASEAN cooperation. Strive to increase the total retail sales of consumer goods by 7% and the import and export of foreign trade by 8% in 2023.
