On February 20, Dongdu Customs, affiliated to Xiamen Customs, reviewed and approved a batch of RCEP certificates of origin of dried agaric that were signed to Japan, marking that Xiamen Customs issued more than 20000 RCEP certificates of origin for international trade export enterprises. The owner of the goods, Xiamen Duoxile Co., Ltd., holds this certificate and can enjoy tariff reduction of about 87000 yuan in the destination country.

According to statistics, as of February 20, Xiamen Customs has issued a total of 20026 RCEP certificates of origin with a value of 8.5 billion yuan, and nearly 800 international trade export enterprises can enjoy tariff relief of more than 80 million yuan in the destination country. The data shows that since the official implementation of the RCEP policy on January 1, 2022, the export enterprises have paid more attention to the RCEP policy, and the confidence and ability to use the dividend of the RCEP policy to open up the markets of member countries have been increasing. The main export products of Xiamen and its surrounding areas, such as aluminum products, inorganic chemicals, umbrellas, shoes and boots, have benefited significantly.

Xiamen Duoxile Co., Ltd. has been engaged in trade with Japan. After the formal implementation of RCEP, its export products have fully enjoyed the "policy dividend". According to Zhang Bin, the head of customs declaration of Xiamen Duoxile Co., Ltd., the tax rate of related products in Japan has been reduced from 15% to 7.9% by virtue of the RCEP certificate of origin, which has greatly improved the competitiveness of export products in international trade.

According to Xiamen Customs, RCEP has officially entered into force for Indonesia since January 2 this year. So far, except for the Philippines, RCEP has entered into force for the other 14 member countries. Among them, RCEP certificates exported to Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia are all self-printed.
