According to a report on the LS website on June 1, Kazakhstan imported 5,100 tons of toys in the first quarter of 2021, with a total value of 26 million US dollars. China is Kazakhstan's largest source of toy imports, importing 2,900 tons, valued at 14.4 million U.S. dollars. Other import sources include Russia (1500 tons, US$9.2 million), Uzbekistan (371.6 tons, US$1.1 million) and Belarus (95.3 tons, US$748,900).
In the first quarter, Kazakhstan imported 43,800 baby strollers with a total value of 1.8 million US dollars. Among them, 38,400 vehicles were imported from China, valued at 1.3 million U.S. dollars; 5,200 vehicles were imported from Russia, valued at 494,800 U.S. dollars.
In the first quarter, Kazakhstan imported 7,000 tons of diapers with a total value of 17.8 million US dollars. The main source of imports is Russia, which imported 5400 tons worth 13.3 million US dollars. Other import sources include China (665.5 tons, US$2.2 million), Turkey (693.7 tons, US$1.5 million) and Japan (83.9 tons, US$40,400).
