Vietnam Announces to Export Sports Goods Made in Vietnam Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation

Vietnam's textile, clothing and footwear products export to the EU market enjoy a number of tariff preferences, and the preferential tax rate exceeds the preferential tax rate of most favored nation treatment (MFN). Minister Ruan Hongyan also suggested that the European Federation of Sporting Goods Industries promote EU countries to ratify the EU Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), creating favorable conditions for EU and Vietnamese investors to carry out investment and business activities in the field of textile, leather and footwear production. In the first 10 months of 2022, Vietnam's leather footwear industry's export to the EU market reached 5.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 40.1% over the same period of 2021. Among them, footwear exports reached 4.8 billion US dollars, up 24.1% year on year; luggage, handbags and umbrella caps reached 754.1 million US dollars, up 22.2% year on year.
