In the new trend of international trade, when talking about which children's toys are the most popular, Jacoby said that in the 1960s and 1970s, toys with clockwork function rose, and brands such as StretchArmstrong, HotWheels, PezCandy and StarWars are becoming popular again.

In the 1980s, more technologies were introduced into toys, including electric motion, light and sound motion technologies, as well as the toy market reform greatly impacted by the listing of Nintendo.

Jacoby said that these toys are now springing up again.

In the 1990s, people paid more attention to high-tech toys and action figures. Now brands like Tamagotchi, Pok é mon, PollyPocket, Barbie, HotWheels and PowerRangers are re emerging.

In addition, action figures related to popular TV programs and movies in the 1980s have also become the popular IP of children's toys. Jacoby said that we can expect to see more movie co branded toys in 2022 and 2023.
