On May 5th, the signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Framework Agreement) between the Management Committee of Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone and China Resources Guangdong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was held in Nansha, Guangzhou.

It is reported that the main content of the "Framework Agreement" includes establishing a win-win strategic partnership between Nansha and China Resources Guangdong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., promoting the implementation of the "Hong Kong Macao Pharmaceutical Equipment Connection" policy in Nansha, carrying out the reform of the drug listing permit holder system, improving the ability of pharmaceutical equipment review and inspection, working together to build an innovative service platform for the biopharmaceutical industry, and creating an ecological demonstration zone for the Nansha pharmaceutical and health industry Build a Greater Health International Trade Platform in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

The reporter learned from the Framework Agreement that this strategic cooperation includes four key contents, which play an important role in promoting the development of the Nansha Health Industry International Trade Platform.

Firstly, we will fully promote the implementation of the "Hong Kong Macao Medical Equipment Connection" policy in Nansha, and China Resources Pharmaceutical will provide professional guidance to designated medical institutions in Nansha District in drug storage, distribution, and employee training.

Secondly, we will fully promote the reform of the drug listing permit holder system, utilize China Resources Pharmaceutical's strategic development platform for circulation, and combine the local pharmaceutical and health industry resources in Nansha to study the production standards and advantages of international trade imported drugs in mainland China. We will attract Hong Kong and Macao drug listing permit holders and medical device registrants to transfer their drugs and medical devices to eligible enterprises in Nansha District for production, Guide enterprises in the area to establish a standardized and standardized system for the production of imported pharmaceutical equipment in mainland China.

Thirdly, we will fully promote the construction of a specialized window for drug import services in the Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone. China Resources Pharmaceuticals plans to establish a modern pharmaceutical logistics center and a pharmaceutical logistics bonded warehouse in Nansha. Nansha will provide pharmaceutical import business consulting and guidance services for pharmaceutical international trade import enterprises in the bonded zone by establishing a comprehensive bonded zone drug import service window.

Fourthly, we will strive to carry out cross-border e-commerce import pilot projects for Hong Kong and Macao OTC drugs in Nansha, promote the implementation and promotion of Class B OTC drug counters in Nansha, and rely on chain stores to achieve full coverage of national approved Class B OTC drugs for Hong Kong and Macao, as well as traditional topical Chinese medicine preparations approved by the province.

In June 2022, the "Overall Plan for Deepening Global Cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao in Nansha, Guangzhou" was introduced.
