It was learned from the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province on the 15th that the Changchun drug import port has been approved for operation, ending the history of "imported drugs and no drug imports" in Jilin Province.

According to the "Announcement on Adding Changchun Airport as a Drug Import Port" jointly issued by the State Drug Administration and the General Administration of Customs, in addition to the drugs specified in Article 10 of the "Administrative Measures on Drug Imports", other imported drugs (including Narcotics, psychotropic drugs) can be imported through Changchun Airport.

The Department of Commerce of Jilin Province stated that the approval of the Changchun Pharmaceutical Import Port will not only increase the enthusiasm of relevant companies to import medicines, but will also have a positive impact on reducing the cost of people purchasing medicines.

It is reported that the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province will work with relevant departments to carry out policy training and consulting services for relevant enterprises and guide them to expand the scale of drug imports.

It is understood that the Jilin Provincial Drug Administration is responsible for the registration of drug imports at Changchun Airport, and the Jilin Provincial Institute of Drug Inspection is responsible for the inspection of drugs at Changchun Airport.
