Second, clean up and rectify cosmetics declared illegally on the label. Clean up and remediate cosmetics that are false or misleading on the label, expressly or imply that they have medical effects, and illegally claim cosmeceuticals, stem cells, acid brushes, and medical skin care products.

Third, clean up and rectify cosmetics with quality and safety risks. Clean up and rectify the use of online-sale cosmetics that may be harmful to human health, cosmetics produced using prohibited raw materials, and cosmetics produced using restricted ingredients that exceed the range or limit. Focus on children's cosmetics, freckle whitening cosmetics, etc.

According to data from the official website of the State Food and Drug Administration, the State Food and Drug Administration has carried out a special campaign for cosmetics “online net and offline cleanup” for two consecutive years since 2019 to severely crack down on illegal behaviors such as illegal additions, counterfeit and inferior use of the Internet. In 2020, we will continue to maintain a high-pressure situation and strengthen the investigation and handling of cases. 11,900 cosmetics cases were investigated nationwide, and 478 cosmetics cases were ordered to stop production for rectification. In the past two years, together with the public security organs, they made a heavy attack, investigated and dealt with a number of major cosmetics cases, destroyed 55 production and business dens, and arrested more than 200 criminal suspects, with a total amount of more than 2 billion yuan.
