u3000u3000 On November 15th, the National Medical Products Administration issued an announcement on the cancellation of the registration certificates of 8 varieties of medicines including pediatric phenol Amine Granules (No. 138 of 2021).

The announcement pointed out that, in accordance with Article 83 of the Drug Administration Law of the People’s Republic of China and other relevant regulations, the State Drug Administration organizes the prevention and control of pediatric phenol Aminocamin Granules, Aminofeca Tablets, Compound Aminopyrine Theophylline Tablets, and Aminopyrin Post-marketing evaluations have been carried out on 8 varieties of phenol coffee capsules, aminocamin tablets, bufenac cream, pediatric compound aspirin tablets, and amphicamin tablets.

u3000u3000 After evaluation, the State Drug Administration has decided to stop the production, sale, and use of the above-mentioned eight varieties in my country, and cancel the drug registration certificate.

u3000u3000 Products that have been on the market shall be recalled by the drug marketing authorization holder. The recalled products shall be supervised and destroyed by the local provincial drug regulatory authority or other measures such as harmless treatment shall be taken in accordance with the law.
