"At present, the number and output of certified enterprises of Chinese organic Lycium barbarum are increasing. On the whole, Qinghai still dominates. The export of organic Lycium barbarum is gradually warming up, which also shows that consumers' confidence in organic Lycium barbarum is increasing." Xuchangqing, a researcher at the Institute of medicinal plants, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and a member of the Chinese organic products expert group, said in an interview with China News Agency on the 12th.

According to the official data released by Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province, in the first quarter of this year, the export of traditional advantageous agricultural products represented by organic Lycium barbarum gradually recovered. In the first quarter, the export value of Lycium barbarum was 6.06 million yuan, an increase of 34.2% year-on-year.

Haixi Prefecture of Qinghai Province, located in the Qaidam Basin, is located in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, one of the "four super clean areas" in the world. At present, the planting area of wolfberry in Haixi prefecture has reached 500000 mu, and the output value of the whole wolfberry industry chain has exceeded 10 billion yuan. Among them, the certified organic Lycium barbarum planting area reached 117800 mu, and the number of certified enterprises reached 31. At present, the planting area of Lycium barbarum in Qinghai Province is stable at about 700000 mu, including 200000 mu of organic Lycium barbarum, which is the largest area of organic Lycium barbarum in China.

In recent years, the officials of Haixi prefecture have successively issued a number of policies and measures to greatly improve the brand value and quality assurance index of products, making the planting scale of Qaidam organic medlar continuously expand.

Xuchangqing said that over the past two decades, the key indicators of organic agriculture in the world have grown rapidly. European and American countries are the main sales markets of organic agricultural products. At present, the Chinese wolfberry market has a rigid demand for high-quality, especially organically certified Chinese wolfberry. However, the road to China's organic wolfberry certification is tortuous and complex. Through the organic certification pilot, consumers understand the production process of organic Lycium barbarum and enhance consumer confidence. At present, the implementation rules of organic certification have added special requirements for organic certification of Lycium barbarum, and the certification authority has also increased the inspection strength of organic Lycium barbarum. Therefore, the current organic Lycium barbarum is more trustworthy than ever before.
