Recently, the international standard proposal of "Technical Specifications for Negative Pressure Ambulance Medical Cabin" (ISO/TS 17430) led by my country was officially approved by the International Organization for Standardization Road Vehicle Committee (ISO/TC22), and a new standard will be established in the future. Group, with Chinese experts as the convener to organize follow-up research work.

Negative pressure ambulance is an important medical material, which is mainly used for the safe isolation and transfer of patients with infectious diseases, and plays an important role in the control of various respiratory infectious diseases. The research work on the international standard proposal for "Technical Specifications for Negative Pressure Ambulance Medical Cabin" was launched in 2020. It was jointly proposed by China Automotive Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. and relevant domestic research institutions and industry enterprises. To meet the needs of sanitation work, the technical requirements and test methods for sealing isolation, disinfection and sterilization of medical cabins have been clarified.

This standard project is the first international standard project in the field of negative pressure ambulance. It will provide important technical support for improving the quality of negative pressure ambulance products and ensuring global public health safety. It is of great significance in the current global fight against the epidemic. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will organize relevant units to jointly promote the development of standards, and continue to increase my country's participation and contribution in the field of international standards and regulations.
