Continuously expand the field of traditional Chinese medicine services

In terms of grass-roots TCM team building, during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, a total of 42,000 general practitioners in the category of qualified TCM (assistant) general practitioners have been trained and trained. The total number of physicians in the category was 183,900, an increase of 27,500 from 156,400 in 2015.

By supporting the infrastructure construction of about 850 county-level traditional Chinese medicine hospitals, 500 county-level traditional Chinese medicine hospitals have comprehensively improved their comprehensive service capabilities and the service capabilities of all original poverty-stricken counties. improve. Continue to improve the service capacity of traditional Chinese medicine

This year, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and relevant departments launched the "14th Five-Year" action plan for the improvement of grass-roots Chinese medicine service capabilities. Consolidate the foundation and create an "upgraded version" of the grass-roots Chinese medicine service capacity improvement project. We will focus on four aspects: establishing and improving a high-quality and efficient traditional Chinese medicine service system, consolidating the foundation of grass-roots traditional Chinese medicine talents, vigorously promoting the appropriate technology of traditional Chinese medicine, and actively promoting the popularization of grass-roots traditional Chinese medicine.

Zhao Wenhua said that he will increase support and continue to strengthen the construction of TCM halls in county-level TCM hospitals, township health centers and community health centers, community health service stations and village clinics, encourage social forces to run TCM at the grassroots level, and further improve the existing ones.
