Compared with the same period of 2021, the export volume of French cosmetics to China increased by 9%, and China firmly ranked as the largest export destination.
According to import and export data, lipstick ranks first among cosmetics exported to China. According to the import and export data of the same period in 2021, one out of every three French lipsticks is exported to China.
In addition, French cosmetics have achieved record growth in both the United States and Europe. According to the import and export data, the export volume to the United States increased by nearly 32% to 2 billion euros, making the United States the second largest export destination after China. In Europe, the export of French cosmetics to Germany increased by 32% year on year.
