The Chinese medicine Danning Tablets were officially shipped to Toronto, Canada. This means that Danning tablets have officially entered the international mainstream drug market, and international trade has developed steadily.

It is understood that Danning Tablet is a Chinese patent medicine tablet made of rhubarb, polygonum cuspidatum, green bark, white thatch root, orange peel, turmeric, hawthorn, etc. It can relieve the clinical symptoms caused by chronic cholecystitis, and has the effect of soothing the liver and cholagogue, clearing away heat and relieving the body.

Shanghai Hehuang Pharmaceutical, the manufacturer of Danning Tablets, chose the registration path of "Pharmacopoeia Medicinal Materials - Pharmacopoeia Varieties - Traditional Drugs, Based on Domestic Evidence". After 15 months of preparation, compilation and translation of nearly 100 registration application materials, and many communications with the Ministry of Health of Canada, in September 2016, the enterprise formally submitted its registration application to the Ministry of Health of Canada, and passed the approval process of expert review, official publicity and so on.

On December 15, 2016, Danning Tablets obtained the Canadian Natural Drug Marketing License (NPN: 80073325). On July 12, 2019, Shanghai Hehuang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. won the certification of overseas production sites in Canada and became a Chinese traditional Chinese medicine manufacturer with the FSRN certificate (FSRN: 5000525) issued by the Ministry of Health of Canada. Previously, in October 2018, experts from the Ministry of Health of Canada came to China for academic exchanges and checked the production sites of Danning tablets in Shanghai and Huangyao. Experts praised "Amazing" for the modern production site conditions of Danning tablets.

In 2022, the enterprise signed a three-year sales agreement with the Canadian international trade importers. In July, the two sides signed the first batch of international trade export contracts for Danning tablets.

At the loading and delivery ceremony for the export of Danning tablets to Canada for international trade, Zhou Junjie, president of Shanghai Hehuang Pharmaceutical, said that over the years, the company has been insisting on applying scientific research and interpreting the clinical value of traditional Chinese medicine to achieve the goal of modernization and international trade of traditional Chinese medicine.
