At the end of 2020, there are more than 15,200 plywood products manufacturing enterprises nationwide, distributed in 26 provinces (cities, districts); total production capacity is about 256 million cubic meters per year, an increase of 11.8% from the end of 2019; the average production capacity of enterprises is about 17,000 cubic meters per year, showing a trend of both the number of enterprises and total production capacity increasing, and the average production capacity of enterprises decreasing.

As of the end of 2020, a total of more than 17,500 plywood products manufacturing enterprises have been cancelled, revoked or discontinued nationwide.

The annual production capacity of plywood products in 7 provinces, regions and 4 cities in the country exceeds 10 million cubic meters.

There are more than 4,400 plywood products manufacturing enterprises in Shandong Province, with a total production capacity of about 61 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 23.8% of the country's total production capacity, and continuing to rank first in the country. The production capacity of plywood products in Linyi City exceeds 36 million cubic meters per year, accounting for about 59.0% of the province's total. It is the largest production base of plywood products in Shandong Province and even the country.

There are more than 1,880 plywood products manufacturing enterprises in Guangxi District, with a total production capacity of about 48 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 18.8% of the country's total production capacity, ranking second in the country. Guigang City is the largest production base of plywood products in southern my country, with a total production capacity of close to 21.5 million cubic meters per year, accounting for about 44.8% of the region.

There are more than 2,300 manufacturers of plywood products in Jiangsu Province, with a total production capacity of about 36 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 14.1% of the country's total production capacity, ranking third in the country. The production capacity of Xuzhou City is about 16 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 44.4% of the province; the production capacity of Suqian City is approximately 13.2 million cubic meters per year, accounting for approximately 36.7% of the province.

There are more than 930 plywood products manufacturing enterprises in Anhui Province, with a total production capacity of 17.3 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 6.8% of the country's total production capacity, ranking fourth in the country.

There are currently more than 710 plywood production enterprises in Henan Province, with a total production capacity of 15.2 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 5.9% of the country's total production capacity, ranking fifth in the country.

There are currently more than 990 plywood products manufacturing enterprises in Hebei Province, with a total production capacity of about 11.9 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 4.6% of the country's total production capacity, and ranking sixth in the country.

There are more than 720 plywood products manufacturing enterprises in Guangdong Province, with a total production capacity of about 11.3 million cubic meters per year, accounting for 4.4% of the country's total production capacity, ranking seventh in the country.

At the beginning of 2021, there are more than 2,050 plywood products under construction nationwide, with a total production capacity of approximately 24.4 million cubic meters per year. Except for Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Qinghai and Tibet, the remaining 25 provinces (District) all have plywood production enterprises under construction. It is estimated that the total production capacity of plywood products in the country will exceed 270 million cubic meters per year by the end of 2021.
