In addition to making adjustments to policies such as entry testing and isolation, the relevant Brazilian authorities have recently issued the latest regulations, announcing that air passengers will be prohibited from bringing some products without health permits into Brazil.

It is understood that the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture announced on July 12 that air passengers will be prohibited from bringing all kinds of plant seeds, unprocessed handicrafts of plant or animal products, and untreated wood into Brazil, unless the documents comply with the regulations of the Brazilian agricultural department. Phytosanitary, veterinary and sanitary requirements documents, and subject to customs inspection.

In terms of wood, because it is easy to carry forest pests, once passengers bring untreated wood into the country, it is likely to cause cross-border spread of pests. Therefore, not only Brazil, but also the customs of various countries strictly restrict the entry and exit of timber to avoid the potential harm caused by harmful organisms to the forestry and ecological environment of various countries.
