The engineering project with the largest contract value undertaken by the company in Singapore has filled the gap for Chinese-funded enterprises to contract large-scale comprehensive entertainment projects overseas.

The Singapore Universal Studios project has a complex structure and novel design, which requires extremely high comprehensive capabilities of the design and construction team. As the general contractor of construction, MCC Singapore overcame various unfavorable conditions brought about by the tropical high temperature weather, and 7 sub-projects were constructed at the same time. From the date of signing the contract, it took only 18 months to complete the project that would take developed countries from 4 years to 18 months. The project that takes five years to complete has created a miracle in the history of the construction of world A-level theme parks.

The successful construction of the Universal Studios Singapore project has brought two far-reaching impacts on China's metallurgical industry: one is to greatly promote the export of Chinese steel products and expand the overseas market of Chinese steel products; the other is to form a good demonstration and start. It has laid a solid foundation for the development of characteristic themed projects, an important part of MCC's "four beams and eight pillars" comprehensive business system, and provided experience and talents for the future construction of large-scale projects such as Shanghai Disneyland, Beijing Universal Resort, and Hong Kong Disneyland. Over the years, MCC Singapore has worked hard to build a "golden brand" while serving Singapore's urban construction. At present, MCC Singapore has developed and managed 19 real estate projects in Singapore, including more than 11,000 residential units with a total saleable area of over 900,000 square meters, accounting for 3% of the Singapore apartment market. In May 2021, MCC Singapore won the bid of the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) for the design and construction of the Changi East Depot of the Metro Cross-Island Line, covering an area of 570,000 square meters and a total contract value of more than 5 billion yuan RMB. This is the second subway project undertaken by MCC Singapore in the Singapore market.

In April 2022, MCC Singapore won the bid for the construction project of the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) strong and weak electricity and communication security system. The system is a 4-kilometer-long cross-border MRT system that will connect Singapore's Woodlands and Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and cross the Johor Strait.
