According to customs data, from January to August, the export volume of Chinese furniture and its parts was 302.58 billion yuan, down 0.8% year on year; In terms of other household building materials, in August, the export amount of ceramic products was 18.69 billion yuan; The export amount of lamps, lighting devices and their parts was 27.99 billion yuan.

Customs data also showed that from January to August, the export value of ceramic products was 132.03 billion yuan, up 8.9% year on year; The export amount of lamps, lighting devices and their parts was 196.38 billion yuan, down 0.4% year on year.

According to customs data, in the first eight months of this year, China's import and export of goods totaled 27.3 trillion yuan, up 10.1% year on year. Among them, China's export in the first eight months was 15.48 trillion yuan, up 14.2%; Imports reached 11.82 trillion yuan, up 5.2%; The trade surplus was 3.66 trillion yuan, an increase of 58.2%.

Customs data also showed that in August alone, China's total foreign trade import and export value was 3.71 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.6%. Among them, the export reached 2.12 trillion yuan, up 11.8%; Imports reached 1.59 trillion yuan, up 4.6%; The trade surplus was 535.91 billion yuan, an increase of 40.4%.
