With the guidance and assistance of the Maritime Department, Penglai implemented "water water combined transport" through special timber ships, and successfully opened a new channel for international trade and logistics of transferring timber to Tianjin, the Yangtze River estuary and other places.

"Through the new logistics service mode of" foreign trade import+domestic trade water transfer ", we have successfully introduced three wood processing enterprises to cooperate with Penglai Wood Industrial Park, and it is estimated that 20000 cubic meters of domestic trade wood can be transferred to water within this year." Through the implementation of business "time sharing forecast" and administrative licensing "online booking", the port units shall complete the formalities for ship entry, "China border inspection boarding code" and other procedures as soon as possible, strictly prevent the import of overseas epidemics, and ensure the safety and smoothness of the port.

Penglai Customs conducts personnel, time arrangement and document review in advance according to the arrival of goods, implements rapid and flexible inspection, saves time cost for enterprises, and continues to promote paperless declaration of "single window" in international trade, steadily advances reforms such as "early declaration", "two-step declaration" and "two-stage access", constantly improves the efficiency of customs clearance, reduces the delay of port handling and customs clearance, and improves the efficiency of port dredging of imported timber.

It is understood that the company is committed to building a low-carbon, environment-friendly, smart and economic integrated wood production park and a wood recycling industry ecosystem, mainly receiving and unloading logs imported from Penglai Port. After learning of the financial difficulties, Penglai District Financial Bureau came forward and organized a special dispatching meeting to promote the implementation of the work requirements of financial support for "stable growth" and enterprise rescue financing.

"The successful handling of the letter of credit has helped us solve the big problem, which not only effectively alleviates the problem of the credit line of the industrial park's log import trade, but also strengthens our credibility advantage in international trade negotiations." The person in charge of the industrial park said. At present, the bank has applied in advance for enterprises and obtained trade financing approval amount of RMB 100 million. This letter of credit is also the first letter of credit issuance business of the bank, realizing a new breakthrough in the bank's international business.

At present, there are more than 20 penglai industrial park and port side wood processing enterprises, which have the port side comprehensive processing capacity of processing 1.2 million square meters of logs annually. In the second half of this year, Penglai will increase the preparation and construction of the second phase project of the park, covering an area of 540 mu. This project has been approved as a key project in Shandong Province. It is estimated that after completion, the processing capacity will increase by 600000 cubic meters, the import volume of port logs will increase by 900000 cubic meters, and more than 500 jobs will be created.
