According to customs data, in November this year, the transportation of fertilizer, ore, metal, oil, especially timber, was in a loss state, with the transportation volume in the west reduced by 75%. According to customs data, from the perspective of timber exports in November this year alone, the quantity of timber products delivered through the checkpoint in the Far East Federal District decreased by 8% month on month and 10.3% year on year.

In addition, according to the data collected from IPEM (Institute of Natural Monopoly: an independent research center in the field of infrastructure and related economic sectors in Russia), it is expected that the trend of decline will also be maintained in December, which is expected to reach - 4%.

At the same time, IPEM experts also predicted the main indicators of the Russian railway industry in 2023: by 2023, the transport volume of bulk commodities, including timber, grain, mineral metals, oil, etc., is expected to decline by 3-4.8% compared with 2022.
