According to data from Xiamen Customs, from January to April, the total export value of construction machinery in Fujian Province was 2.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 53.3%. Customs data shows that the export value in March was 960 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 73.3%, and the monthly export value reached a historic high.

As the core area of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road", Fujian construction machinery enterprises have deeply cultivated the markets along the "the Belt and Road". According to customs data, 1.67 billion yuan of construction machinery was exported to countries along the "the Belt and Road" from January to April, accounting for 57.6% of the total export value in the same period. Customs data shows that the main export commodities are forklifts, excavators, front shovel loaders, etc.

"With the help of the customs, we have achieved a major breakthrough in the export of the 'the Belt and Road' countries. Our products have been exported to dozens of countries and regions in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States, and the sales volume this year is expected to be 1.5 times that of last year." said Tian Bo, general manager of Xiamen Xiagong International Trade Co., Ltd. It is reported that the company has been established for more than 70 years and is an old leading enterprise in China's construction machinery industry. According to customs data, from January to April this year, the company exported 106 million yuan of construction machinery, a year-on-year increase of 65.6%.

In order to assist in the efficient export of construction machinery, Xiamen Customs has strengthened policy promotion and guidance "one-on-one" in response to the characteristics of large volume, time-consuming loading, and complex international standard systems of construction machinery. They have assisted enterprises in improving their quality management systems, provided export standards for different countries (regions), and formulated export plans "tailored to their needs"; Open a green channel for export, guide enterprises to use customs declaration methods such as early declaration, and reduce the time for engineering machinery to stay in port; Continuously carry out follow-up tracking after export, dynamically adjust the "one enterprise, one policy" policy, and support enterprises to participate in exhibitions and expand overseas markets.
