According to China Customs data, in the first half of 2021, agricultural machinery exports amounted to 21.835 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.3%; imports amounted to 2.21 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27%.

In the first half of the year, a total of 71,635 tractors were exported, a year-on-year increase of 30.3%; a total of 356 tractors were imported, a year-on-year increase of 107%. A total of 1,157 harvesting machines were imported, a year-on-year decrease of 6.4%.
